研究方向

主要從事被子植物系統進化與細胞地理方面的研究工作,特别是青藏高原與武陵山區植物多樣性起源與演化的研究。具體開展了天門冬科黃精族鹿藥屬的分子系統學及其北半球生物地理間斷研究,另外也開展了東亞地區特别是青藏高原和武陵山區一些重要類群的細胞地理學進行重點研究,同時還應用流式細胞儀開展植物基因組大小和染色體倍性進化方面的研究。先後4次到美國訪問研究,發表SCI論文48篇,主持國家自然科學基金項目5項,湖南省自然科學基金1項,獲湖南省自然科學三等獎一項。
